Twisted A Farm

Twisted A Farm is a small family farm located in Prunedale, California. What began as a simple vision—to teach our own children the value of hard work and responsibility through raising livestock—took an unexpected and meaningful turn during the COVID pandemic.

As a 4-H family and program leaders, we faced the challenge of staying connected when traditional meetings were no longer possible. Our farm became a safe, outdoor space where youth could continue learning, gathering, and growing during a time of uncertainty. It was there that we truly recognized the power and impact of hands-on, on-farm education.

That experience shaped our mission. Today, we are growing this dream day by day by stewarding our small homestead and providing meaningful youth development opportunities for local schools, foster youth, and disenfranchised youth. Through farming, livestock care, and real-world experiences, we are helping cultivate both the next generation of farmers and confident, capable young people.
